Conscious sedation starts with a thorough review of your medical history and consultation with Dr. LeCavalier. He then will prescribe a medication that will be taken one hour prior to any dental appointment. You MUST have a driver to bring and pick you up from the appointment. Upon arrival our caring staff will ensure that you are comfortable in every way possible. We can provide warm blankets, neck pillows, headphones for music, or you can even watch a movie in our state of the art treatment areas. During treatment, you will be aware of your surroundings, but in a relaxed, sleepy state.
