We are proud to feature Air Abrasion to treat small cavities. This is a small device that works like a very precise sandblaster. Tiny, harmless particles of aluminum oxide are gently propelled against the tooth, removing decay.

Air abrasion can generally be used about 30% of the time to treat cavities. One advantage to air abrasion is the conservative nature of the procedure, where only a small amount of the tooth is removed at a time. A small sized cavity can be treated in a matter of minutes, without the use of anesthesia, or a drill!
